Below is a general outline of how the live painting process unfolds, from first steps, to last.

After sending an Email to emily.claire.cobb@gmail.com expressing your interest, Emily will reach out to set up a time to discuss date, location, and aesthetic vision- including sizing, and subject matter. Pricing varies depending on size and number of portraits included in the painting. After this discussion, you will receive a quote. To secure your date, a 10 percent deposit is required. Full amount is due 1 week before the wedding date.

On your wedding day, Emily will arrive an hour before the ceremony to begin drawing the setting. This is to ensure that portraits are painted during the reception so guests may view and enjoy.

Emily will capture her own photograph of the moment you wish to be painted. Once a photograph is secured, Emily will begin painting the portraits at the reception location, painting until completion.

After the reception, Emily will take the painting back to her studio in Minneapolis for final touches. All Paintings are varnished ensuring longevity through the years.

Framing is not included. Shipping costs are calculated at time of shipment.
